The VEX Robotics Competition, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, is the largest and fastest growing middle school and high school robotics program globally with more than 18,000 teams from 40 countries playing in over 1,350 competitions worldwide. Each year, an exciting engineering challenge is presented in the form of a game. Students, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, build innovative robots and compete year-round.

VEX Robotics Kits Delivered in Uganda
Recently, the RECF’s impact was felt in Uganda at the Pan African Robotics Championship, where young engineers received VEX Robotics kits, sparking a wave of excitement and potential in STEM.
Minnesota Signature Event at Mall of America
Nearly 100 teams competed in this first event of the 2024-25 VEX Robotics Competition Season. It was an excellent kickoff as teams showed off their robots and competed for a spot at VEX Worlds!
Google Robotics Workshop
This was an excellent opportunity for students who had never worked with robotics before. It allowed them to pique their curiosity, experience STEM in an inclusive environment, & cooperate as a team.

Competition Process
Each year, an exciting engineering challenge is presented in the form of a game. Students, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, build innovative robots and compete year-round. Teams progress from local and regional competitions (in a tournament fashion) to get to the Vex World Championships where they compete for final top awards.Judging Criteria
