Single Day Design Challenge gives teams a chance to design, build, and compete in a single day. Teams will see the challenge at 7:45am. Then have four hours to build a solution and then compete in the afternoon. Each of the sixteen teams will have two practice sessions in the morning. They will then compete in two 10-minute rounds in attempt to achieve the highest score.
Students are invited to exploit the full range of EV3 programming and capabilities on a 4x8’ field. There are very few rules and teams are encouraged to have a tele-op solution. They can build helper objects and other devices that can be placed on the field.
