The Regnier Venture Creation Challenge is an annual startup pitch competition hosted by the Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The RVCC seeks to find and support the most promising and impactful new entrepreneurial student ideas from the four-state region (Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska). Since the competition’s inception, more than $500,000 have been awarded, funded by generous support from Bob Regnier and the Regnier family, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City, and David Block and the Block family.
Since 2018, a healthcare innovation track has been offered through generosity of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City.
Participants will submit a business plan slide deck. After review, top teams will compete in a pitch competition where students will present the slide decks they submitted. There will be multiple pitch rounds in the live pitching.
