The PAVE Student Design Competition promotes “real-world” design experience for college-level students interested in pursuing careers in the design industry.

Student designers across the globe are encouraged to participate in designing and enhancing a mobile/pop-up, guest experience for City Relief, connecting friends and guests in need, with much-needed resources while creating an equitable sense of place for friends and neighborhoods.

The Top 3 Concepts will be awarded $3,000 USD, their schools will receive $1,000 USD, the students will be invited to attend the 2022 PAVE Gala in NYC (travel expenses covered) where they will be recognized for their achievements, and they will get to work with a design team to bring their concept for life for City Relief.

Student designers across the globe are encouraged to participate in designing and enhancing a mobile/pop-up, guest experience for City Relief, connecting friends and guests in need, with much-needed resources while creating an equitable sense of place for friends and neighborhoods.

To support the idea of a pop-up "Third Place," your vision should be a transformative experience based on strong design concept development, defining a unique and supportive guest experience, while celebrating a flexible, sustainable, and buildable project.

To guide both the student and the judges, the following criteria establish a scoring matrix based on the evaluation of broad categories implicit in the design submission. All submissions will be judged blindly.
Quality Content and professional presentation of work 20%
