The Global Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (GYEC) is an online 12 hour business idea competition for high school students. You can join anywhere as long as you have access to the internet. The GYEC 2022 will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
The GYEC aims to encourage young people's entrepreneurship and develop their knowledge and experience of enterprise. It gives an opportunity for teams of high school students from around the world to solve a significant global problem through an innovative and sustainable enterprise idea. They also learn to apply their knowledge of science and technology in a practical way.
Each team must submit:
- 3 photos in which we can confirm all of the member’s participation * If you gather online, send a screen shot photo of the video meeting with everyone.
- a 2-page business plan, , single spaced, minimum size font 11 pt.
- a 3-minute video presentation with a 3D prototype model or a 2D illustration of the business idea.
- a post competition questionnaire: All the members of the team need to answer the questionnaire after the competition. This will also become an evidence of each member’s participation.

Global Youth Entrepreneur Challenge Award
At the GYEC, the winners will receive a trophy and an award certificate, and all the participants will receive the certificate of participation.

Eligibility:
Eligible participants are 14-19 year old students who are attending high school. In order to register for the competition, participants need to form a team of up to 8 eligible students. Ideally, the team should possess a broad range of complementary skills and knowledge in areas such as science, technology, business, marketing and communication. Your competition is already starting when you decide the team members you will work with!
