Design Squad includes a number of different inventive projects for kids. They also include a series of Global Challenges that provide kids with a design problem and asks them to invent a solution using simple household materials or even by just drawing it. Kids can then submit their designs online and they earn stickers (and votes) to determine top designers for each challenge.
Competition Process
Kids respond to a design challenge by creating a solution to a specific prompt. They can respond by either uploading an online design drawing or creating their design using common household objects. Each challenge is different, and has different rules. Typically the students are recognized online and provided online stickers rather than having monetary awards.Judging Criteria
