The National Current Events League consists of four (4) meets (contests) held at your school during the school year. Each Meet consists of 30 multiple choice questions and may be adminstered comfortably within one class period. Each of the Meets will be based on current events in a specified time frame prior to the date of the meet.
Competition Process
Students will respond to questions provided on topics relevant to current events in the specified time frame. Schools will host a series of 4 "meets" in which students are given 30 multiple choice question. Students submit their responses and top scores are recognized online.Judging Criteria
