Whether they will clean the ocean or filter water for a small village, your research can make a difference. Register for free today!

Students between the ages of 15-18 register online at no cost in Teams of 1-3 with an adult aged 19 or older acting as a Team Leader. Teams have until April 22, 2022 to sign up and then must submit a 5-15 page research paper online by April 29, 2022. These submissions are scored by an international jury of engineers, researchers, and experts in the field. The top 10 submissions will be invited to present their research and a stipend-funded prototype in a virtual Finals event to be held on August 11, 2022, competing for over $20,000 in prizes!

Team papers are scored on their use of the scientific method in pursuit of a sustainable solution. Key areas include technological elements, engineering design and identification of potential hurdles and their solutions. A full rubric can be found on the competition's website.
