Aerospace and space exploration are quickly being privatized. There has never been a better time to learn about and get involved with the commercial space industry, and lend your unique expertise to solving problems for people in space and on Earth. In this idea competition, research a problem that exists for people on Earth, people living in space, or the future of space exploration. Create a business solution to that problem on your own or in a team. High school and college teams of up to 5 students each are eligible to compete from anywhere in the world.

The Challenge:

  1. Research a problem that exists for people on Earth, people living in space (now or in the future), or the future of space exploration.
  2. Create a business solution to that problem - focus on the idea itself, not actually creating a physical product.
  3. Working by yourself or in a team of up to 5 students, create the three required submissions.
  Submission Requirements:
  • Business Plan/Proposal - Write a business plan no longer than 10 pages in length
  • Pitch Deck - Design an 8-10 slide pitch deck
  • Presentation - Present your pitch deck in a recorded presentation with your team

Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
  • Identification of a Problem and Business Solution within the Commercial Space Industry
  • Industry Analysis
  • Finances
  • Pitch Deck Quality
  • Presentation Quality
  • Communication
This competition has not yet listed it's awards.
