THEME: PERSEUS AND MYTHOLOGICAL MONSTERS

The National Mythology Exam is given annually to over 9,000 students in approximately 400 schools nationally and internationally. The National Mythology Exam welcomes all students of classical mythology. The National Mythology Exam is open to all students, grades 3-12.

The National Association of Secondary School Principals has placed this program on the NASSP National Advisory List of Contests and Activities for 2018-2019.

Exam requirements based on the grade level of the student:

General Myth (30 questions) Thematic Section (10 questions) Classical Subtest: Aeneid or Odyssey (10 questions) Classical Subtest: Ovid (20 questions)  
Grades 3-4 required
Grades 5-6 required required
Grades 7-8 required required One  required
Grades 9-12 required One required required

This exam style contest is judge based on the number of correct answers provided in the allotted time.
