The UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the UNDP/GEF Small Grant Programme have teamed up once again with tve to launch a video competition for the best youth climate projects happening around the globe. Send us an inspiring video diary, a maximum of three minutes long, in one of two categories:
- Category 1: Climate friendly and resilient cities
- Category 2: Oceans and climate change
Make a maximum three-minute video about your activities to help combat climate change and submit your entry using the Global youth video competition entry form found on the competition website. The two winners will receive the following prizes:
- Round-trip travel to COP23 in Bonn, Germany, November 2017;
- Position as a youth reporter for COP23, responsible for assisting the UNFCCC Newsroom team with videos, articles and social media posts.
- Content: clearness and effectiveness of the video in documenting a story about climate change, promoting action and/or offering new solutions.
- Innovation, originality, and impact: telling a climate story in a fresh and unusual way, appealing to a broad and diverse audience and encouraging further thought and action.
- Technical expertise: quality of camera and audio work, effectiveness of editing and strength of script.
