The Blue Ocean High School Entrepreneurship Competition is the most prestigious and largest pitch competition for high school students in the world. It is a virtual entrepreneurship competition that attracts the very best high school aged entrepreneurs from all over the world. Every year, individuals or teams pitch their innovative business concepts to experienced entrepreneurs and business-people, receive feedback on their ideas, join a community of like-minded students, and compete for thousands in cash prizes.
Simply come up with an idea on your own or with a team of up to 5 others for a product or service that stands apart and you believe the world needs, register for the competition (see button above), so we know who you are and can keep in touch with you, create a video pitch under 5 minutes in length using the Rubric on the Resources page and then submit the video by the deadline. That’s it.
Blue Ocean Award
- First Prize $1,000
- Second Prize $750
- Third Prize $500
- People's Choice Award $750 (Combination YouTube likes and judges vote)
- $1,000 to the school that has the most individual or team pitches that make the Top 25
- $1,000 to the top 5 schools who bring in the most submissions
- A 75″ OneScreen TouchScreen is awarded to one of the Top 10 schools with the highest collective score
